Did Joe Exotic sing his own songs?

            User Avatar
It turns out that there are two musicians behind the Joe Exotic songs, and neither of them are the man himself. According to Vanity Fair, Vince Johnson and vocalist Danny Clinton, members of the Clinton Johnson Band, are the ones who wrote and recorded all the big cat hits, including “I Saw A Tiger” and “Here Kitty Kitty.” The two men do appear in the credits of Tiger King, but Joe Exotic insisted to his staff and crew that it was him performing the songs. And he also didn’t bother telling the real musicians that he was taking the credit. “I had no idea he was going to Milli Vanilli the songs,” Johnson told Vanity Fair. “It was a couple of months and two or three songs [into the collaboration] when I was on YouTube one night and just happened to look up Joe Exotic. And there he was, lip-syncing and acting like the ghost of Elvis [in these music videos]. I called him up, I was hot…And he bamboozled me about his reality show—that it was coming soon and he would make everything right as rain. I just wanted the proper credit.”

What does a documentary mean to you personally? I think now-a-days a documentary can be anything. When I was younger, I saw a documentary called Cane Toads and it was this hilarious doc about how these Cane Toads were brought in to solve an over population of the cane beetle in Australia. What happened was the cane toads started replicating at such a fast rate that little girls started adopting them as pets, as did others. They started growing to this enormous size and they started taking over. It was this human introduced element to the area that ended up not solving the problem at all and created a whole other problem. The beetle was infiltrating sugar cane so someone got this idea from another country苹果彩票 but instead they over multiplied and became this whole disaster problem on their own. So, it was so funny and so strange because I didn't know documentaries could be like that. It really affected me because I was like "Wow vérité is great and vérité is what makes great documentaries but you can do reenactments, you can follow crazy people around, you can tell stories that I would have never known about, like the Cane Toad story." ...And that opened up a whole world to me. I feel like documentaries now can be about anything. We are seeing so many inventive documentaries especially in the last 5 years.

Was the 1986 movie 'Caravaggio' in any way an accurate portrayal of the artist's life?

            User Avatar
Caravaggio was a supposed homosexual and prone to violent outbursts. More than once, he was thrown out of Italian towns and villages because of fights. It is said that he once killed a male lover by stabbing him. Nevertheless he was an accomplished artist, with a style that bridged the Renaissance and Italian Baroque, Artemisia Gentileschi is his most famous follower. My answer- Yes, according to most historical accounts of his life, the type of life he led was accurately portrayed, but the details may not be exactly true. Read Helen Langdon's book Caravagio :A life . She did a great deal of research, much of which is based on original police reports($48. hardbound)

            Is Hannah Hauxwell still alive?

Below is a link to an interview with Hannah Hauxwell, published in the Yorkshire Post on 3rd March 2007. Please see the Related Links below for more information. Hannah Hauxwell (Daughter of the Dales) by TTCool on Fri Nov 20, 2009 3:24 pm Good afternoon folks Judy and I have once again spent a wonderful afternoon in the company of Hannah. I am glad to report that she is still alive and living in the same house. She was 83 years old on the 1st August 2009. Her physical health is what you might expect of a lady in her eighties but she's still as sharp as ever. She is without doubt a jewel nestling in the chaos of her 苹果彩票网登录 in Cotherstone; humble, content, unspoilt, graceful, kind and remarkably knowledgeable of the outside world from which she is so far removed, and that is the foundation of this lady's attraction. We always come away feeling touched by her grace and feeling privileged for having become welcome visitors over the last few years. Our first meeting with Hannah was remarkable in the extreme as it came about by my saying to Judy, literally, "I'm going to see Hannah Hauxwell" when at the time she was only known to me as a lady featured in an earlier TV documentary. This happened after enjoying a picnic in the country苹果彩票side. We were heading out to Alston moor but we turned back and were amply rewarded for our determination to find her. We knew she lived in Cotherstone but we didn't have her exact address. So on Tuesday the 17th November 2009 Hannah Hauxwell was, and is, still with us. If you want to know more about this remarkable lady simply Google her name and you will find a host of writings and videos. Joe & Judy Lanny

            What is Kymatica?

            User Avatar
Kymatica is a film that deals in metaphysics and the evolution of the "self". In the documentary (Kymatica) they say at one place: "In nature, all that we perceive with our five senses is a result of two fundamental principles. Everything in existence is made of a relationship between vibration and matter. Vibration is a masculine creative force countered by matter, which is a feminine receptive force. Thus begins the principle of duality. We see this duality in ancient myths and philosophies, yet only those philosophies and scriptures that were perverted and raped of the original meaning gave the impression that one polarity was good while the other was evil. The original sages, adapts and shamans taught that both are necessary and one would not exist without the other. These two important principles come together to form all things in the universe. THIS IS KYMATICA."
