            User Avatar
Nope! The list of things we know actually causes acne is not very long, but we do know this: Chocolate, and greasy foods, for that matter, are not on it. Medical professionals believe genetics, changing hormones, greasy makeup, and taking certain medications are the factors at play, not what you eat. However, if you already have acne, certain things can make it worse, like pollution, humidity, and stress.

How do you lessen a bump on the forehead if a child falls?

            User Avatar
I'm a paramedic, the best way to lessen a bump is to hold a cold cloth/compress on it for as long as the child will let you. watch for drowsiness and vomiting signs of a concussion. The quicker you put a cold compress on the bump, the better. As a childcare provider, I find the quickest thing is to grab a bag of frozen peas or the like from the freezer, wrap in a small towel and apply to bump as long as possible. Anyone with kids should carry a first aid "quick ice pac". It's a poly-plastic bag that when shaken, the crystals inside mix and create an instant ice pack. Never apply directly to skin; wrap in a towel, or paper towels, then apply to the little ones Boo Boo!

What is a good answer to why would you like to become a teacher on a college application?

            User Avatar
Answer Some good answers to this question are: A.) Talk about a really great teacher you had, explain why you admired them and say you want to provide that same experience to other kids. B.) Write about any teaching experiences you have, such as tutoring or helping older relatives get to grips with the internet or something. Describe the satisfaction you got from helping people understand something new. C.) Explain that your ideal job would provide security but still allow you to exercise creativity and meet new people on a regular basis. Say that teaching would be a great way for you to achieve this and then give an example of a classroom exercise or a method of motivating students that you've come up with. This will emphasise your eagerness and creativity. D.) If you'll be training to teach a specific subject you should also talk about your passion for your subject and how much pleasure it gives you to share that passion with others. For example one of my friends is a trainee Geography teacher and his application essay was all about how Geography is the only subject that includes English, Math, Science and Computing making it the most important subject in the curriculum for a comprehensive education. Some things you should try not to say are 'I just really like working with young people' (because everybody says that and the admissions people tend to discount it) 'I'm looking for a job which will give me time off during the summer to look after my own kids' (you can mention this in interviews if they ask, but never mention it straight off, even if it was your biggest reason for going into teaching. Ditto any financial incentives.) You should also stay away from topics like the funding of public 苹果彩票s, even if you feel passionately on the subject, because you don't know the politics of the person reading your application. Save it for the interview, when you can gauge reactions. Answer Be honest as to why you want to be a teacher. The worst thing for a kid to have is a teacher who doesn't really want to be there. So if you truly want to be a teacher, tell the college why. It may be because of a certain teacher you had or an event that made you decide. What ever it is be truthful and sincere and it will reflect in your essay.

            How do you treat cellulitis?

            User Avatar
Treatment Antibiotic treatment is the only way to battle this potentially life-threatening infection. Mild to moderate cellulitis can be treated with the following antibiotics taken every four to eight hours by mouth: * penicillins (Bicillin, Wycillin, Pen Vee, V-Cillin) * erythromycin (E-Mycin, Ery-Tab) * cephalexin (Biocef, Keflex) * cloxacillin (Tegopen) Other medications may be recommended, such as acetaminophen (Tylenol) or ibuprofen (Motrin, Advil) to relieve pain, and aspirin to decrease fever. A normally healthy person is usually not hospitalized for mild or moderate cellulitis. General treatment measures include elevation of the infected area, rest, and application of warm, moist compresses to the infected area. The doctor will want to see the patient again to make sure that the antibiotic treatment is effective in stopping the infection. Persons at high risk for severe cellulitis will probably be hospitalized for treatment and monitoring. Antibiotics may be given intravenously to patients with severe cellulitis. Complications such as deep infection, or bone or joint infections, might require surgical drainage and a longer course of antibiotic treatment. Extensive tissue destruction may require plastic surgery to repair. In cases of orbital cellulitis caused by a sinus infection, surgery may be required to drain the sinuses.
